Delete your TruGuide account

You can delete your TruGuide account and its data at any time, in the TruGuide app for iPhone or Android or on the website.

In the app or on the website

1. Open the TruGuide app, or sign in at www.truguide.ai/app.
2. Open the menu (top left) and tap your name at the bottom.
3. Tap Settings, then Delete account.
4. Type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away. Using TruGuide as a guest? Settings has Delete guest data instead.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

To delete a single conversation, open the menu (top left), press and hold the conversation (or use its “…” button on the website), and choose Delete. It is deleted right away. To have other data deleted without closing your account, email us at the address below.

Can't sign in?

Email support@truguide.ai from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within 2 business days.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile (name, email, plan)
• All your conversations and messages
• Your usage counts and reply reports
• Your record at RevenueCat, our in-app purchase provider

What is kept

• Payment records for plans bought on our website, kept by our payment processor as tax and financial rules require, typically for 7 years.
• Feedback you sent and error reports, with your account removed from them.
• Server logs, deleted automatically within 90 days.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels a plan bought on our website. It can't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription: cancel those in your iPhone's Settings (your name, Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions) so you aren't charged again.
