Terms of Service

TruGuide offers the following subscription plans:

• Seeker (Free): 5 messages per week (the week resets every Monday at midnight Eastern Time), General mode only
• Faithful ($9.99/month or $99.99/year): unlimited messages (fair use applies, see Section 5), General + Bible Study + Devotional Plans modes, image uploads, voice input, 50 current event searches a month
• Shepherd ($15.99/month or $159.99/year): everything in Faithful (unlimited messages with fair use; General, Bible Study, and Devotional Plans modes; image uploads; voice input), plus Sermon Prep mode and 125 current event searches a month

All prices are in US dollars. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable advance notice. Any price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

Paid plans include unlimited messages for normal personal and ministry use. To keep TruGuide fast and available for everyone and to prevent abuse, all accounts are subject to reasonable automatic limits: currently up to 10 messages per minute and, on paid plans, up to 100 messages per day, resetting at midnight Eastern Time (America/New_York). Individual messages, images, and the amount of conversation history sent with each message are also limited in size.

Paid plans also include a generous monthly allowance of AI processing, measured by the estimated cost of your replies (currently about $4.50 per calendar month for Faithful and $8 for Shepherd, Eastern Time). If a month is unusually active and you pass it, you are never cut off: your replies for the rest of that month come from a lighter AI model, and TruGuide tells you when full service returns on the first of the next month.

These limits are well above typical use. If you reach one, TruGuide will tell you and you can continue after it resets. We may adjust these limits to protect the Service; they are not intended to restrict normal use of a paid plan.

TruGuide is free to use. Every account can use General mode, with 5 messages per week (the week resets every Monday at midnight Eastern Time).

The Faithful plan adds Bible Study and Devotional Plans modes, image uploads, voice input, 50 current event searches a month, and unlimited messages (fair use applies, see Section 5). The Shepherd plan adds Sermon Prep mode and 125 current event searches a month to everything in Faithful.

In the TruGuide app, Faithful and Shepherd are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly, through Apple's In-App Purchase on iPhone or Google Play Billing on Android. The price is shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, as set by the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions bought in the app are billed by Apple or Google, and their terms for App Store and Google Play purchases also apply. A plan on your TruGuide account is available in the app whenever you sign in.

• Offer: new subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently 7 days) of Faithful or Shepherd as an App Store introductory offer or a Google Play free trial offer. Apple or Google decides whether your account is eligible, and the app shows the trial and the price that follows it before you confirm.
• Automatic conversion: unless you cancel before the trial ends (on iPhone, at least 24 hours before), the subscription begins when the trial ends and your Apple ID or Google Play account is charged the price shown, renewing as described in Section 7.
• Unused trial: on iPhone, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• How to cancel: on iPhone, in the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then TruGuide. On Android, open Google Play, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then TruGuide. You keep access until the trial ends.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (iPhone) or your Google Play account (Android) when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically, every month for monthly plans and every year for yearly plans, unless canceled before the end of the current period (on iPhone, at least 24 hours before). The renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time: on iPhone, in the Settings app (tap your name, then Subscriptions) or the App Store; on Android, in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions). You can also use Manage subscription in TruGuide's Settings. After you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for; then your account uses the free plan.

Deleting your TruGuide account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it first so you are not charged again.

If a renewal payment fails, Apple or Google may retry it. Your plan's features continue for up to 7 days while it does; after that, your account uses the free plan until a payment succeeds.

Subscriptions bought in the app are billed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. For an App Store purchase, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. For a Google Play purchase, visit Google Play's refund help. We cannot issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases ourselves.

• Length: first-time subscribers can try Faithful or Shepherd free for 7 days, on either monthly or yearly billing.
• Card required: a valid payment card is required to start the trial.
• Automatic conversion: unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription becomes paid when the trial ends and your card is charged the price you chose: $9.99/month or $99.99/year for Faithful, or $15.99/month or $159.99/year for Shepherd, renewing as described in Section 7.
• One per person: each person may have one free trial. We may decline or end a trial we reasonably believe is a repeat.
• How to cancel: open Manage billing in the TruGuide web app and cancel before the trial ends. You won't be charged, and you keep access until the trial ends.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, every month for monthly plans and every year for yearly plans, on the anniversary of your subscription date. You will be charged the applicable fee unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Manage billing" link in the app. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid features through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Seeker (Free) plan.

If a renewal payment fails, your paid features continue for up to 7 days while the payment is retried. After that, or if a free trial ends without a successful payment, your account uses the Seeker (Free) plan until a payment succeeds.

Due to the nature of digital services, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may grant refunds at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

• Technical issues that prevented you from using the Service for an extended period
• Accidental duplicate charges
• Charges that occurred after a timely cancellation request

To request a refund, contact us at support@truguide.ai within 14 days of the charge. All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
